Hometown Design-Build is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Preconstruction Coordinator. This role focuses on project planning, scheduling, and procurement, making it vital to our success.
Responsibilities:
Plan Review & Analysis:
Meticulously study architectural and structural plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand project scope and requirements
Quantity Takeoffs:
Accurately estimate materials like lumber, drywall, and fixtures
Scope Writing & Communication:
Develop clear scopes of work, communicate with subcontractors, and gather competitive bids.
Scheduling & Planning:
Create and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor project progress, and coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of project
Procurement:
Obtain and organize quotes from material suppliers, present options to homeowners, and track deliveries.
Cost Control:
Assist in budgeting and monitor material costs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in residential construction, with a strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
Proficient with estimating and scheduling tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
