Job Description:

servicePath is looking for Platform Configuration Specialists to become experts in the configuration and delivery of the servicePath CPQ platform. The ideal candidate will be a person with experience of implementing and configuring business software systems. Successful candidates will possess an affinity for configuring enterprise software to address business requirements and a desire for a customer and team collaborative work environment. As would be expected, excellent problem solving and communication skills would be critical for the Platform Configuration Specialists.

About the Job:
• Job Title: Platform Configuration Specialist
• Department: Solutions & Client Success
• Reports to: VP of Solutions & Client Success (Based out of Canada)
• Position: Open-Ended Contract Role
• Timings: GMT Hours
• Location: Philippines (Remote)

Role Objectives:
• Become a Platform Expert: Use your platform expertise and excellent communication skills to work with Clients to capture requirements, provide trusted guidance, and implement CPQ features.
• Be the User: Act as a subject matter expert for servicePathTM CPQ+ features and as a power-user, be an advocate for all CPQ users to support product development and contribute to feature functionality.
• Transfer your Knowledge: Help educate clients and staff on CPQ+ functionality and implementations.
• Deliver Quality: Consistently deliver excellent platform configurations, supporting materials, and training to drive client satisfaction and user adoption.
• Continuous Improvement: Use the knowledge you gain working with clients, deliver configurations, and participating in implementations help improve the CPQ platform.

Duties:

• Platform Expertise:
o Build and maintain an expert body of knowledge of servicePathTM CPQ+
o Contribute documents and knowledge articles regarding the core platform, but also functionality and/or configuration specific to the client

• Task Management:
o Own tasks/issues/requests from initiation through to completion on behalf of the client
o Participate in Post Project Reviews to help identify process, service, and platform improvements

• Business and Requirements Analysis:
o Client configuration requirements gathering through workshops or calls
o Assisting Product and Engineering with feature design and user interaction
o System / Spreadsheet deconstruction
o Business process analysis

• Platform Configuration:
o Lead the execution of configurations, data importing, business rules, document templates, and any other setup or configurations primarily using the platform user interface (GUI)
o Maintain accurate documentation of the current

• Client Interaction:
o Work with key client contacts to define and refine configuration needs.
o Perform user training and education on configurations and assist with servicePathTM and our clients' efforts to develop training and education materials and processes

• Release Management and Quality Assurance:
o Platform release assistance pertaining to configurations
o Participating in pre-release quality assurance activities
o Participation in the editing and validation of user documentation prior to customer release
o Participate in Business UAT on behalf of the client and for validation of new releases of servicePathTM CPQ+
• User Advocacy:
o Working with Product and Engineering representing the end-user during feature design and development phases
o Assist with platform advisory and education on best-practices

Key Competency and Experience:
Minimum:
• Previous experience (min 2 years) in a hands-on software configuration or implementation role
• Experience working closely with engineering / development functions
• Strong customer-first focus with experience working with technology-oriented clients
• Very organized with the ability to manage multiple task lists and clients
• Strong communications skills in English, spoken and written
Core Competencies:
• Logical thinker and problem solver that can learn quickly and independently
• Comfortable parsing highly detailed log and trace files to find root cause
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
• Dynamic, energetic, motivated, positive outlook
• A very strong aptitude for spreadsheets, particularly those using advanced functions but not necessarily macros.
• Experience with Atlassian suite of tools (mainly Jira and Confluence)
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com and Microsoft Dynamics 365 or CRM
Preferred:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience with CPQ systems
• Experience working with distributed global teams
• Some experience with software development would be an asset
