Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Rendering & CAD Specialist with a focus on furniture and lighting design. The ideal candidate will have experience in producing high-quality 3D renderings, 3D modeling, CAD drawings, assembling product videos, and creating realistic room scene shadows for marketing and product development purposes. You will collaborate with designers and production teams to ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and aesthetic excellence.

Essential Responsibilities
• 3D Rendering: Create high-quality, photorealistic renderings of furniture and lighting products, accurately depicting fabric colors, textures, patterns, and materials.
• 3D Modeling: Develop factory-quality 3D models that clearly communicate design intent while demonstrating an understanding of furniture and lighting construction, including upholstery modeling.
• Technical CAD Drawings: Create precise technical CAD drawings in collaboration with the design and production teams, ensuring designs align with manufacturing requirements.
• Assemble Videos: Produce clear and engaging assembly videos for furniture and lighting products, ensuring ease of understanding for customers.
• Photo Editing & Shadows: Apply realistic shadows to room scenes to enhance visual appeal and accuracy of product representations. Use Photoshop to edit and refine images for a polished final look.
• Mass Production Feasibility: Ensure all designs and drawings are suitable for mass production and comply with safety standards and testing.
• Revisions: Make necessary revisions to renderings and drawings during prototype reviews.
• Quality Control: Review all CAD drawings to prevent production concerns and resolve any issues found.


Job Experience/ Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar position, preferably in furniture and/or lighting design.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in 3D rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, SketchUp, Photoshop)
o Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD for technical CAD drawings.
o Experience in creating assembly videos and applying shadows to room scenes.
• Production Knowledge: Understanding of K/D (knock-down) design and production processes is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to identify issues and provide practical solutions in design and production.

Work Environment:
• Remote Work: Work will be performed primarily from home.
• Communication Tools: Regular use of a computer, communication tools, like TEAMS, Skype and design software.

Working hours
Working hours are generally 8am to 5pm. Weekly meetings may be required to discuss with the team in the US and China.
