Payment and VAT Integration Specialist (STRIPE)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Payment and VAT Integration Specialist to streamline our payment processes, ensuring VAT compliance for international customers while handling multiple payment methods. The ideal candidate will be skilled in setting up Stripe payment links, managing VAT across different countries, and providing solutions for both business and non-business customers.

Responsibilities:

Set up Stripe payment links for the following amounts: €500, €1000, €1400, and €2500.
Create separate payment options for credit card and Dutch Ideal payments.
Ensure VAT is correctly applied based on customer location and business status (business customers must provide VAT number, non-business customers automatically pay VAT).
Manage VAT rates for international customers, especially in the Netherlands, Belgium, and other countries with varying VAT requirements.
Provide solutions to minimize the number of payment links by consolidating processes, where possible.
Handle the integration of VAT with Stripe for both business and non-business customers.
Create and manage payment links for scenarios with and without VAT.
Troubleshoot and resolve past complications with VAT handling and invoicing outside of Stripe.
Requirements:

Proven experience in handling Stripe payment links and VAT integration.
Strong understanding of VAT requirements and international tax regulations.
Familiarity with Dutch payment methods, especially Ideal.
Ability to streamline payment processes and reduce complexity.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
Knowledge of e-commerce payment setups, especially for online courses or similar services, is a plus.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with international business transactions and managing payments for businesses and individual customers.
Familiarity with creating automated workflows for payment processes.
Previous experience working with Stripe, Ideal, and VAT calculations for the European market.
