Patient Services Representatives play a vital role at our company, serving as the first point of contact when patients have questions about their bill. In this role, you will play a crucial part in serving our clients by helping their patients understand their medical bills and navigate the medical billing process.

Key Responsibilities:
-Handle a heavy phone volume across all our clients, answering calls and emails from patients, explaining their patient responsibility, taking payments etc.
-Identify billing issues and solve underlying issues with claims. Escalate issues to the right team members on the billing team or client as required
-Collect payments over the phone where applicable
-Provide exemplary customer service

Qualifications/Skills:
-Familiarity with medical billing concepts is a must. Applicants with no medical billing experience will not be considered for this role.
-A successful candidate must understand in detail how medical insurance works and possess a knack for diagnosing and reviewing claims-related issues.
-Strong computer skills, excellent typing skills and ability to learn new Practice Management systems.
-Clear and fluent American accent
-Excellent customer service skills and pleasant demeanor

Requirements:
-For Laptop: 8th generation (8000 series) Core i5 or better; AMD Ryzen series processors
-For Desktop: Ryzen 5 3000 series and above. If Core i3 - 10th generation or higher.
-For Mac: Core i5 - 2017 or higher Core i7 - 2016 or higher (not recommended : Core i3)
-A suitable work-from-home space in the Philippines
-Internet connection: 25 Mbps minimum
