Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and creative Part-Time Social Media Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing our clients’ social media accounts by creating engaging content, writing compelling copy, and executing social media strategies that resonate with audiences. The ideal candidate is a social media enthusiast with excellent writing skills and a knack for creating eye-catching visuals and copy that drive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
• Develop and create original social media content (graphics, videos, images, etc.) that aligns with client brand voices and marketing objectives.
• Create compelling copy for social media posts, ads, and captions to engage the target audience.
• Curate content for different platforms, including Instagram,
Social Media Strategy:
• Collaborate with clients and the marketing team to understand brand objectives and target audience.
• Plan and implement social media strategies and campaigns to increase engagement, brand awareness, and conversion rates.
• Monitor social media trends and implement best practices for growing social communities and increasing reach.
Community Engagement:
• Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster a positive community around client brands.
• Monitor and report on social media performance and audience sentiment.
Copywriting:
• Write and collaborate creative, on-brand copy for various formats (social media posts, blogs, newsletters, ads, etc.).
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure consistency, grammar, and clarity.
Collaboration & Reporting:
• Work closely with the team to align social media efforts with larger marketing initiatives.
• Provide regular performance reports on social media metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth) and offer suggestions for improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or Copywriter (portfolio of work is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram,
• Excellent writing, editing, and copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.) and video editing tools.
• Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• A creative thinker with the ability to adapt to different brand voices and aesthetics.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with clients in diverse industries (startups, nonprofits, corporate).
• Familiarity with social media advertising platforms and running paid ad campaigns.
