**About the Role**

We’re looking for a **Part-Time IT Specialist** to join our team at TO Ventures. This role starts at 10 hours per week, with significant opportunities for growth as you work on our portfolio companies and internal projects. You’ll play a key role in managing our tech infrastructure, streamlining processes, and ensuring smooth operations across the organization.

**Responsibilities**

As a Part-Time IT Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

1. **Email and DNS Management**

• Configure and manage email systems (Google Workspace).

• Resolve DNS issues and ensure smooth domain configurations.

• Set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to ensure email deliverability.

2. **Website Management (WordPress)**

• Maintain and update WordPress websites across our ventures.

• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues to ensure uptime and performance.

• Optimize sites for SEO and mobile responsiveness.

3. **Technical Support**

• Provide tech support for internal teams and portfolio companies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software, hardware, and tools.

4. **Automation and Integration**

• Use tools like Zapier, Integromat, or custom APIs to automate workflows.

• Develop scripts or small apps to improve productivity and streamline processes.

5. **AI and OpenAI API Integration**

• Work with OpenAI APIs to implement AI-driven solutions.

• Develop tools and automations leveraging GPT and other AI models.

6. **System Monitoring and Optimization**

• Regularly audit and optimize systems for efficiency and security.

• Implement best practices for cybersecurity and data protection.

**Requirements**

We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

**Technical Skills:**

• Proficiency in managing email systems (Google Workspace).

• Experience with DNS management and domain configurations.

• Hands-on experience with WordPress maintenance and optimization.

• Familiarity with AI and OpenAI’s API

• Knowledge of automation tools (Zapier, Integromat, or similar).

**Soft Skills:**

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Proactive and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality work.

**Preferred Experience:**

• Previous work with startups or portfolio companies is a plus.

• Background in integrating and optimizing AI solutions is a bonus.
