Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, part-time bookkeeper with experience in QuickBooks and preferably
Key Responsibilities:
- Weekly Updates: Manage and update the company’s financial records on a weekly basis using QuickBooks Online.
- Vendor Payments: Process and pay vendors weekly, ensuring all invoices are properly documented and paid on time.
- Owner Statements: Prepare and submit monthly owner financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This will involve pulling records from Airbnb, VRBO, and
- Reconciliation: Reconcile all accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure all income and expenses are tracked appropriately.
- Tax Prep Support: Assist in preparing the necessary documentation for year-end tax preparation.
Requirements:
- Experience with QuickBooks Online: Must be a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
- Familiarity with
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage financial data accurately and efficiently.
- Weekly Availability: Ability to update the books and pay vendors on a weekly basis.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to collaborate effectively with the team and vendors.
- Experience in Short-Term Rentals (Preferred)**: Familiarity with the short-term rental industry is a plus, though not required.
Hours:
Part-time, approximately 5-10 hours per week with flexibility to complete tasks throughout the week.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
