Job Description:
Join our team as a Parts Interpreter / Purchasing Officer, where you will be immersed in reverse engineering of parts, sourcing and remote stock management. If you have maintenance experience and knowledge related to drill rigs or industrial air compressors that you want to apply to an online job, you might be the perfect fit for our team. This role is crucial for onboarding new products, tracking down vendors, and maintaining efficient stock management.


Key Responsibilities:
Accurately interpret product specifications and requirements.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product range.
Identify and onboard new products while establishing vendor relationships.
Write detailed and clear product descriptions and specifications.
Assist sales team with prompt parts interpretation.
Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to meet operational demands.
Book freight for the collection of incoming goods.
Manage inventory and improve stock management practices to determine order quantities.
Identify new vendors and manage vendor relationships by following up on RFQs and POs while monitoring lead times.
Ensure compliance with company policies throughout the supply chain.
Provide administrative support as required by the team.


Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience in drilling/heavy machinery, including drilling rigs, mud pumps, and compressors.


Requirements:
Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
High integrity and ethical standards.
Tech-savvy with a strong ability to adapt to new technologies.
Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving.
Team-focused with a collaborative mindset.
