Paid Advertising Specialist (Contractor - Philippines)

Location: Remote (Philippines)Job Type: Contractor

About Us

We are a growing digital marketing agency that helps small businesses maximize their online visibility and lead generation through highly targeted paid advertising. We are looking for an experienced, independent Paid Advertising Specialist to fully manage ad campaigns from strategy to execution across multiple platforms.

This role is for someone who does NOT need micromanagement but thrives on research, strategy, and optimization. You will be responsible for delivering consistent results within ad budgets ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 per month per client.

Each specialist will typically handle 4-6 clients at a time, depending on campaign complexity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Ad Campaign Setup & Strategy

Plan, build, and manage highly targeted ad campaigns across:
Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, YouTube Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.

Conduct detailed keyword research and audience analysis based on the client’s local market, budget, and goals.

Set up ad creatives, tracking pixels, and custom conversion events to ensure accurate performance tracking.

Write compelling ad copy and headlines that improve CTR and conversions.

2. Daily Optimization & Performance Monitoring

Monitor ad performance daily and make adjustments to bids, targeting, and placements.

Continuously optimize ads by removing underperforming keywords and reallocating budget to high-performing ads.

Improve CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) by testing new audiences, creatives, and bidding strategies.

Conduct A/B testing for ad copy, creatives, and targeting options.

3. Research & Market Analysis

Stay ahead of trends in PPC advertising, Google Ads algorithms, and social media ad updates.

Research local demographics and competitor ad strategies to improve targeting.

Identify new keyword opportunities to scale successful campaigns.

4. Reporting & Performance Reviews

Provide a detailed weekly ad performance report including:

Ad spend vs. results (leads, sales, CTR, CPA, ROAS)

Actions taken and optimizations made

Next steps for improving performance

Track and analyze ad spend to prevent wasted budget.

Communicate insights and recommendations proactively to improve ROI.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

3+ years of experience managing Google Ads & Facebook Ads campaigns

Experience with $1,000 - $2,000 ad budgets per client

Strong knowledge of keyword research, audience segmentation, and bid management

Ability to set up conversion tracking, retargeting, and Lookalike Audiences

Proficiency in Google Ads Manager, Facebook Business Manager, and Google Analytics

Familiarity with SEMRush, SErankings, SpyFu, or other PPC research tools


Soft Skills

Self-motivated and results-driven – can work independently without micromanagement

Strong analytical skills – can interpret data and improve performance based on insights

Excellent communication – can explain insights and strategies clearly

Attention to detail – can track small changes that impact ad performance

Time Tracking & Work Reporting Requirements

Track your logged hours and tasks using a time-tracking system (Clockify, Toggl, Time Doctor, etc.).

Provide a detailed weekly performance report including ad spend, optimizations made, and results.

Log deliverables and update progress in Coda.io.

You must include in your application how you track your time and the type of weekly reports you provide.


Compensation & Performance-Based Raises

Starting at $6 per hour (?330 per hour), with opportunities for performance-based increases.

Monthly performance incentives may allow specialists to earn up to $8/hr based on results.

Pay increases must be maintained for three consecutive months to become permanent.

Underperformance may result in a temporary rate decrease or termination if issues persist.


Raises & Adjustments:

Pay may increase monthly for those who consistently exceed expectations.

Performance reviews occur every 3 months, where raises become permanent based on consistent performance.

Failure to meet deliverables may result in a warning, rate adjustment, or termination.

Contract & Compliance

Before starting work, you must be willing to sign necessary contracts, including:

Independent Contractor Agreement

Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

Compliance Agreement for Paid Ad Best Practices

Refusal to follow advertising policies or ethical ad practices will lead to contract termination.

Trial Period
New hires may be required to complete a 2-4 week paid trial to assess their performance, reporting quality, and ad execution before being offered long-term work.
