[PROJECT - FIXED TERM] Back-end Developer (Python FastAPI / SQLModel)

We’re looking for a full-time fixed-term role and you will have the opportunity to renew based on performance.

As a Back-end Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of our web applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with front-end developers to build seamless, responsive, and high-performance web applications.
• Developing and maintaining a web application in Python FastAPI framework.
• Designing and optimizing database structures with SQLModel ORM.
• Implementing security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and data breaches.
• Writing clean, well-documented, and efficient Python code.
• Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Skills required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong proficiency in Python FastAPI for web application development.
• Familiarity with SQLModel.
• Familiarity with git
• Knowledge of client-server protocols (eg. HTTP requests, client/server side code)

Nice to haves (but not required):
• Proficiency in Vue.js framework and JavaScript for front-end web development.
• Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
