Position Overview
As our Remote Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day functions of our operational teams, ensuring smooth workflows and timely task completion. This role goes beyond typical administrative duties—you will lead and coach staff, manage assets, and drive operational excellence entirely in a virtual capacity. You must be able to remain calm under pressure, especially during seasonal peaks (e.g., snow removal), and effectively collaborate with on-site tea

Key Responsibilities
Daily Management
Oversee day-to-day remote operations, ensuring tasks are completed on time and meet our quality standards.
Manage employee scorecards to track performance, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
Coordinate staff schedules and daily dispatch, including snow removal logistics during the winter, collaborating with on-site teams through virtual communication tools.
Participate in virtual operations meetings, providing updates on team progress and identifying areas for enhancement.
Hiring, Managing, and Terminating Employees
Lead the virtual hiring process by screening and selecting candidates who align with our culture and operational needs.
Conduct performance reviews, implement disciplinary measures when needed, and champion ongoing team development initiatives.
Handle terminations professionally and in accordance with company policies, ensuring all remote protocols are followed.
Asset Management
Coordinate with on-site teams to maintain and monitor trucks, equipment, and materials to optimize efficiency.
Plan for necessary repairs, upgrades, and purchases—especially before peak seasons—through remote oversight and coordination with field staff.
Adaptability to Stress & Changing Situations
Remain flexible and proactive in adjusting strategies, schedules, or resource allocation to meet real-time operational demands.
Support the team calmly and decisively during high-pressure

Qualifications
1+ year of operations or administrative experience (preferred)
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
Effective communicator (written & verbal), especially in a virtual setting
Proficiency in standard office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
Reliability and the ability to handle confidential information securely
Adaptability under shifting priorities or high-demand periods
Prior experience managing remote teams or remote workflows is a plus
