Job Title: Operations Manager - Accounting Firm

Location: US-Base Remote (Serving clients across 23 states)

About Us: We are a dynamic Tax and Accounting Firm undergoing an exciting transformation. 2025 the 21-year company is now separating our Tax and Accounting services into two distinct companies and are looking for a strong leader to oversee the operations of our accounting firm. This role will work closely with our new Operations Manager over the tax department to ensure seamless coordination and excellence in service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the accounting firm, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

Manage and develop a team of associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Ensure compliance with company SOPs and motivate the team to meet KPIs and goals set by the Corporate Office.

Communicate confidently and effectively with clients via live video calls.

Handle bookkeeping, accounting, and ADP payroll processing for clients across 23 states.

Coordinate with the new Operations Manager over the tax firm to ensure alignment and collaboration especially with the shared Tax Dome account.

Report to the CEO and provide daily touch base updates on team performance and operational issues.

Oversee client cases and task management for our tax and accounting firms through the Tax Dome CRM portal.

Ensure cases are processed efficiently, collect payments, goals and KPIs are met, and the team operates smoothly.

Qualifications:

Business Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 9 years of experience in project management, bookkeeping, and executive assistance.

Expertise in bookkeeping, accounting, and ADP payroll processing.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.

Proven ability to influence and manage a team.

Experience with CRM systems, preferably TaxDome.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Works well under pressure.

Full-time availability with no other employment or contracts.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint), TaxDome, Email Communication, certification is a plus.

Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
