We are a start up and are looking for an experienced On-Page SEO Specialist to help optimise our digital presence. If you have a proven track record in eCommerce SEO and 4-5 years of experience, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth keyword research to optimise product pages, category pages, and blog content.
- Optimise meta titles, descriptions, headers (H1-H6), and internal linking for better rankings.
- Conduct SEO audits and resolve issues related to indexing, duplicate content, and site structure.
- Improve URL structures, breadcrumbs, and schema markup for enhanced search visibility. -
- Work closely with the content team to optimise product descriptions, blog articles, and landing pages.
- Analyze competitor strategies and suggest improvements.
- Ensure website speed and Core Web Vitals are optimised for better rankings.
- Collaborate with developers to fix technical SEO issues (crawling, indexing, broken links).
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates and implement best practices accordingly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
+ 4-5 years of proven experience in On-Page SEO, specifically in the eCommerce industry.
+ Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and other SEO tools.
+ Expertise in keyword research, site audits, and content optimisation.
+ Familiarity with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or other eCommerce platforms.
+ Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their impact on SEO.
+ Ability to work independently and provide data-driven SEO strategies.
+ Strong analytical skills and experience using Google Analytics to track performance.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work with content and development teams.
Nice to Have (Not Required):
+ Experience with conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and A/B testing.
+ Knowledge of AI-driven SEO tools and automation techniques.
+ Experience with international SEO and multilingual websites.
