Visual or Graphic Designer

We are seeking a talented Visual Designer to join on an on-call contract basis. This is not a regular part-time position, but rather a project-based role where hours and payment are tied directly to available tasks and completed work.

Key Responsibilities:

Create highly effective designs for web, email, social media, events, and other brand and marketing initiatives
Design responsive websites using Adobe XD and working within WordPress frameworks
Coordinate efforts with web developers and other teaUpgrade to see actual infombers
Develop brand identities including logos, style guides, and rebranding work
Support the design of high-impact presentation materials for various stakeholders
Create and format digital visual elements including typography, layout, imagery, and iconography
Lead visual design through entire project lifecycles, from concept to final deliverables
Work collaboratively with a team of contractors to execute projects in a timely manner
Communicate directly with clients to ensure satisfaction and continually refine marketing strategies
Manage time effectively to keep projects on schedule and within budget

Qualifications:

5+ years of professional design experience
Must provide a diverse portfolio demonstrating skills in visual storytelling and concept-driven design
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Proficiency in WordPress framework and using themes as design foundations
Experience in responsive website design and Adobe XD
Demonstrated expertise in developing brand identity
Previous digital agency experience strongly preferred, including juggling multiple clients simultaneously
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Expert knowledge of branding, visual design principles, and typography
Ability to partner with copywriters to develop original concepts that address creative briefs
Capacity to deliver production-ready comps and visual assets
Knowledge of additional design applications like Canva
Professional proficiency in English
