Role Overview:
As an Odoo Developer & Empiro Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for customizing and developing solutions within Odoo ERP to optimize business processes, as well as implementing and managing integrations with Empiro (or other tools) to synchronize operations between our Amazon store and internal systems. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to automate tasks, improve system workflows, and support business growth through technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Odoo ERP Customization & Development:
Customize, configure, and maintain the Odoo ERP system according to business needs and requirements.
Develop new modules or enhancements to existing modules within Odoo.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand workflow needs and translate them into Odoo solutions.
Empiro Integration with Amazon:
Implement and manage the integration of the Odoo system with Empiro (or similar platforms) to streamline data flow between Amazon seller accounts and Odoo ERP.
Ensure smooth integration for order processing, inventory management, and financial reporting between Amazon and Odoo.
Troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues between Empiro, Amazon, and Odoo to ensure accurate, real-time data synchronization.
Automation of Business Processes:
Automate key business functions such as order processing, inventory updates, invoicing, and reporting to minimize manual interventions.
Develop custom workflows and processes to enhance operational efficiency across departments (e.g., sales, inventory, finance).
Performance Optimization:
Continuously monitor and improve system performance, ensuring integrations with Amazon and Odoo run smoothly and efficiently.
Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements to ensure the platform adapts to evolving business needs.
Data Management & Reporting:
Work with the data team to ensure accurate and real-time reporting of sales, inventory, and financial data.
Develop custom reports and dashboards in Odoo to provide key insights into business operations and Amazon performance.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide support to internal teams for Odoo and Empiro-related issues, resolving any technical problems promptly.
Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure systems are running seamlessly.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Odoo Developer, with a deep understanding of Odoo ERP (version [specific version] or higher).
Experience with integrating third-party platforms (such as Empiro or similar) with Amazon Seller Central or Amazon Vendor Central.
Strong knowledge of the Amazon seller ecosystem (e.g., inventory management, order fulfillment, FBA integration).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and SQL for Odoo customizations.
Experience with APIs and web services for integrating Odoo with other platforms.
Familiarity with e-commerce business processes, especially in the Amazon marketplace.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with multi-channel retail systems or enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions in e-commerce.
Familiarity with Amazon Marketplace Web Services (MWS) API and other Amazon integration tools.
Experience working with the Odoo community and understanding of Odoo’s ecosystem.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
