Nurse Attendant

A nurse attendant, also known as a nursing assistant or nurse aide, performs a variety of tasks to provide essential patient care:
Patient care: Assists with personal care tasks like bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Vital signs: Takes and records vital signs like blood pressure and temperature
Documentation: Documents patient information accurately and in a timely manner, including medication administration, response to treatment, and changes in condition
Emotional support: Provides emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
Patient mobility: Helps patients move around or ambulate
Meal preparation: Prepares meals and helps patients eat and drink
Bedside care: Performs bedside nursing care like catheterization and enema
Administrative tasks: Answers phone calls and schedules appointments
Cleanliness: Maintains cleanliness of patient rooms and common areas, and ensures proper disposal of medical waste
Collaboration: Works collaboratively with registered nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
