JOB OVERVIEW

Important: Must be willing to work during US EST (GMT-5) time zone.

We are a U.S. based newsletter startup and we create email newsletters that cover tech tutorials, productivity tips, life hacks, retro gaming, and tech nostalgia. We’re looking for someone to assist with the newsletter, write content, manage social media channels, and provide general virtual assistant support to keep everything running smoothly.

We require the following skills for this position.

*Basics*
- Excellent English
- Excellent Content Writing Skills
- Ability to Research Topics
- Detail Oriented
- Interest in Tech

*Newsletter Support*
- Help put together our newsletter.
- Find and recommend interesting tech articles and news.
- Write short summaries or content for the newsletter.
- Edit and proofread the content to make sure it’s clear and accurate.
- Suggest fun ideas to make the newsletter more engaging.

*Content Writing*
- Write clear and engaging articles, tutorials, or tips for the newsletter and website.
- Research and create content on tech topics that our readers will find useful and interesting.
- Help maintain a consistent tone and style across all content.
- Update older content to keep it relevant and accurate.

*Social Media*
- Share content on our social media channels.
- Reply to messages and comments from followers.
- Help grow our audience by posting engaging content.

*Virtual Assistant Tasks*
- Organize schedules, deadlines, and team tasks.
- Respond to emails and help with basic communication.
- Keep files and documents updated and organized.
- Research tools, ideas, or resources to help with tasks.

*What We’re Looking For*
- Interest in technology, gaming, productivity, and tech nostalgia.
- Strong writing and editing skills with good attention to detail.
- Organized and reliable with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable using social media to promote content.
- Able to handle general admin tasks like email and scheduling.

*Nice to Have*
- Experience with newsletters or blogging.
- Knowledge of email marketing tools, Ahrefs, and/or WordPress.
- Experience as a virtual assistant or similar role.
