Neon Sign Maker or Craftsman

Knowledge of making build-up, acrylic, panaflex and neon signages.
Discussing client requirements and determine the digital files needed.
Determining the most suitable materials to use for the sign, including vinyl, timber, glass, metal, plastic or electronics.
Making adjustments to the design with client before finalizing the sign.
Maintaining a safe working environment, especially when working at height.

Qualifications:
with 1 to 2 years experience on the same field
A high school diploma or its equivalent is the minimum education requirement for a neon sign-maker.
A sign-maker must be able to follow directions, use basic mathematics to measure and cut glass and make a frame to hold the neon sign
He must have patience and good eye-hand coordination to bend and shape the glass and he must be able to work safely with electricity, various gases and hand held tools
Taking courses in art or graphic design are a plus in this occupation.
