JOB OVERVIEW

Join our fast-growing company as an English-speaking NOC Engineer specialist with C1 Level written and spoken English language.

It is a remote full-time position!

Schedule: Mon-Sun; 24/7, 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am

At Mindy Support you have a great opportunity to get:
Experience in the international company working with people around the globe.
Compensation – 700 USD for 2 month of probation period, then 750 USD -800 USD after trial period.

Your responsibilities:

- Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance, health, and security using various monitoring tools to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Incident Detection & Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues, including hardware failures, connectivity problems, and security vulnerabilities.
- Incident Escalation: Escalate unresolved issues to senior technicians or appropriate departments, ensuring swift resolution.
- Alert Management: Manage alerts and notifications from monitoring systems, prioritizing issues based on severity and impact.
- Documentation: Document network issues, solutions, and procedures for troubleshooting, ensuring knowledge sharing and consistency in problem-solving approaches.
- Network Security: Monitor and assist in maintaining network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- Customer Support: Provide assistance and support to internal teams or clients experiencing network connectivity issues or service disruptions.

You are a perfect candidate if you have :

- At least 1 year in Customer Support/ Technical Support
- Education & Certifications (optional): Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred). Certifications like CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, etc.), firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Experience: 1-3+ years in a NOC, IT support, or network administration role.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve network, server, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Monitoring & Incident Management: Experience using NMS tools, handling alerts, and escalating critical incidents.
- Operating Systems: Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.
- Security Awareness: Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, intrusion detection, and network hardening.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal/written skills to document incidents and coordinate with teams.
