Moodle Programmer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Moodle Programmer to develop a moodle site. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Moodle-based learning management systems (LMS). Your expertise will be critical in enhancing the platform’s functionality, ensuring seamless integration with other systems, and delivering an exceptional user experience for educators and learners alike.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and customize Moodle LMS to meet specific organizational requirements.
- Integrate Moodle with third-party plugins, tools, and applications.
- Create custom plugins, modules, or extensions as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Moodle platform.
- Optimize Moodle performance and ensure compatibility with various devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, educators, and IT teams to implement LMS features effectively.
- Ensure the security, stability, and scalability of the Moodle platform.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Moodle Programmer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Moodle architecture and APIs.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Moodle plugins and theme development.
- Experience with database management and server administration is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
