Moodle Developer Position

Note: Only applicants with Moodle customization experience will be considered

Our dynamic and innovative company specializes in helping organisations build safer workplaces and comply with safety legislation. We work with large global companies as well as small and medium domestic companies. In addition to providing consultancy services, we license our proprietary software to assist companies comply with safety training requirements and general contractor safety.

Our software products are built on a Moodle platform but have been heavily customized and are approximately 8 years old. We require an experienced Moodle developer to follow design specifications to enhance the product by developing and customizing plug-ins and apply any bug fixes.
The successful applicant MUST have a minimum 1-year experience developing, customizing and bug fixing Moodle products. Recent experience means no long than 6 months past.
The applicant should also have general PHP and MYSQL experience, have excellent problem solving and detective skills and have a very keen eye for detail to look for improvement opportunities. They will also have demonstrated Dev-Ops experience using Jira, Bit Bucket and Cpanel.

This position can work from home 100% of the time. This will begin as a part time contract position and will be extended to a permanent role in the future. The pay will be negotiable based on experience.
