MedCore Solutions, is excited to announce an opening for a Medical Live Scribe specializing in Ophthalmology. In this remote role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with healthcare providers, ensuring that every patient visit is documented accurately and efficiently in real-time. If you are an attentive listener with a passion for precision and a strong understanding of medical terminology, we invite you to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities
Assist Ophthalmologists in real-time documentation during patient consultations
Accurately record patient history, symptoms, examinations, and assessments
Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify dictations and ensure accuracy
Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure patient confidentiality
Review and edit records as needed for accuracy and completeness
Utilize provided software and tools to streamline documentation processes

Other Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week; Weekend days off

Requirements
2-3+ years of experience as a Medical Scribe or Live Scribe in an Ophthalmology setting
Strong knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and procedures
Excellent listening and typing skills with attention to detail
Ability to document in real-time during patient encounters
Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
Good communication and collaborative skills
Amenable to work in a graveyard shift (Pacific Standard Time)
