Job Summary
The Billing Specialist handles out-of-network medical billing and accounts receivable (AR) management, ensuring accurate claim submission, follow-ups, and appeals. This role requires extensive U.S. medical billing experience, including claim denials, reimbursement negotiations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Submit and track out-of-network claims, ensuring timely reimbursement.
Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve denials through appeals.
Manage open AR and communicate with U.S. insurance companies via phone and email.
Identify billing trends and recommend process improvements.
Use billing software, electronic claims platforms, and payor portals.
Ensure compliance with U.S. medical billing regulations.

Qualifications
3+ years of U.S. medical billing experience, specializing in out-of-network claims and AR management.
Strong knowledge of claims processing, denials, and appeals.
Excellent English communication skills for direct insurer calls.
Must have availability to call U.S. insurers, with significant U.S. business hour overlap.
Proficiency in billing software, Excel, and payor portals.
Reliable internet and professional remote setup.
