Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle medical billing including claim submission, follow-ups, and appeals
Work with PracticeEHR and CollaborativeMD to ensure accurate billing and coding
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patients
Handle claim denials and rejections efficiently to maximize reimbursement
Post payments and reconcile accounts with accuracy
Communicate with insurance companies and providers to resolve billing issues
Ensure compliance with all medical billing regulations and coding guidelines
Requirements
? Minimum of 2 years of medical billing experience
? Proficiency in PracticeEHR and CollaborativeMD (REQUIRED)
? Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
? Experience with insurance verification, claim appeals, and denials management
? Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
? Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
? HIPAA compliance knowledge

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in podiatry and/or orthopedic billing is a plus
Familiarity with electronic claims processing and credentialing processes
