Role:
Medical Biller/Coder (with experience in Chiropractic | Acupuncture | Physiotherapy | Osteopathy)

Role Overview:
• Handling Medical Coding and Billing & Collections.
• Handling in-house billing.
• Handling Payment posting.
• Handling follow-up on unpaid claims.
• Processing patient payments.
• Handling claim submissions to insurance payers and corrections (Claim scrubbing & Correcting of rejected claims).
• Handling Insurance Denials & Submitting appeals.
• Handling General Office Visits and establishing evaluation management codes.

Qualifications:
• Medical Biller with experience in Chiropractic | Acupuncture | Physiotherapy | Osteopathy
• Profound knowledge of CPT codes and Modifiers and ICD10.
• Profound knowledge in coding the visits using E/M codes based on history examination and medical decision-making.
• Profound knowledge in Insurance Verification and Benefits (Deductibles, Copays, Coinsurances)
• Proficient in using ChiroTouch.
• Proficient in using Availity and other Payer Portals.
• Can handle and manage a lot of claims daily/weekly.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong Analytical and Critical thinking.
• Self starter & Proactive.
• Keen to details.
