Learning to Live LLC is an integrative spiritual consultancy company led by Catherine Duncan. In 2023, Catherine published her first book, Everyday Awakening, which has garnered national and local press in the United States. As Catherine continues to spread her message of awakening, she is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Marketing Specialist to join her team.
Role Overview:
As a Marketing Specialist, you will help Catherine spread awareness about her book, be at the heart of her operations, and ensure Catherine’s platform continues to grow. You will conduct thorough research, handle influencer marketing and outreach, maintain organized records, coordinate podcasts/tv shows/radio shows, and handle client communications with the highest level of professionalism. Your role will be vital in ensuring Catherine’s projects are executed efficiently and successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Influencer Outreach: Conduct comprehensive research to support client projects and internal needs. Reach out to influencers to set up affiliate collaboration, get pricing, and coordinate sponsored posts.
- Podcast Outreach & Pitching: Research and pitch Catherine as a guest on relevant podcasts that align with Catherine’s message.
- Local & National TV & Radio: Research and pitch Catherine as a guest on relevant tv and radio stations.
- Newsletter: Create monthly newsletters to send out to Catherine’s subscribers featuring highlights from the month, updates on her book Everyday Awakening, future events, etc.
- Public Speaking: Research events Catherine can speak at. Research companies to pitch Catherine as a speaker.
- Organization & Coordination: Manage project timelines, coordinate between client and media outlets, and ensure that all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, project details, and research findings, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
- Problem-Solving: Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and client experience.
Requirements:
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and tone.
- Organizational Expertise: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with exceptional organizational skills.
- Research Proficiency: Experience in conducting thorough and accurate research, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
- Client-Focused: A strong client-service orientation with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using communication and project management tools.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, with a focus on finding practical solutions.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, particularly in a marketing, publishing, or digital agency environment.
