Title: Marketing & Promotions Assistant
Job Category: Marketing/Promotions
Status: Part Time Freelance (5-10 hours per week on average based on projects given, occasionally more hours may be needed)
Pay range: $5 per hour
This is a great position for someone who is creative and has experience with promotional content creation. This is part-time freelance position that will complete a wide variety of tasks in support of the Marketing and Promotions Department, with potential opportunities of supporting other departments with promotional content creation.
Examples of Promotional Content Creation Projects:
• Creating promotions for internal company events and celebrations
• Creating and posting Social Media content
• Implementing regular website content updates (such as our weekly blog)
• Updating flyers, posters and promotional material with our branding in mind
• Creating other promotional material as needed
Additional responsibilities will include assisting the Marketing and Promotions Manager and VPPR with various projects that support the department.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Organized, detail-oriented, and hard-working individual with experience in administrative duties and creative projects
• Genuine desire to serve people, as this is the focus of our business.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office programs (Specifically Word and Excel)
• Knowledge and experience using Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Canva for design
• Knowledge and experience with photography and videography preferred.
• Strong writing ability required.
• Social Media knowledge preferred.
• Innovative and intuitive problem solver and is quick and accurate with administrative tasks
• Must possess a great eye for detail and able to multitask well
• Must be able to work well both independently and with a team
• Previous administrative experience is preferred, but not required.
• Previous design experience is required.
