Our range includes drinking, feeding and lunchbox solutions that are loved by families worldwide. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Assistant to join our team.
About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for a creative and highly organised Social Media Marketing Assistant to manage and grow our social media platforms. You’ll be responsible for executing social media campaigns and engaging with our audience while ensuring our content aligns with Elk and Friends' brand voice. You’ll also manage influencer collaborations, coordinate giveaways, and work closely with our Marketing & Communications Manager and Content Creator to bring fresh ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
• Assist our Content Creator with the execution, scheduling, and posting of engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and tags in a timely and brand-aligned manner.
• Monitor and analyse social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for growth.
• Keep up with trends and suggest creative content ideas to enhance engagement.
Giveaways & Campaign Coordination
• Assist our Marketing & Communications Manager with the organisation and execution of social media giveaways, ensuring smooth logistics of sending prizes and communication with winners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop giveaway concepts that align with our brand.

Influencer & Brand Collaboration Management
• Handle influencer and brand collaboration enquiries, ensuring they align with Elk and Friends' brand values.
• Organise and track influencer partnerships, including product gifting, discount codes, and performance reporting.
• Build strong relationships with influencers and brand advocates to enhance brand awareness.
Content & Strategy Administrative Support
• Work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager and Content Creator to execute content strategies.
• Provide creative input on campaigns, seasonal promotions, and brand storytelling.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
• 1-2+ years of experience in social media management or a related field.
• Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, including algorithms and content trends.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging captions and responses.
• Experience in community management, engagement strategies, and influencer relations.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Basic design skills (or willingness to learn) using tools like Canva or Adobe Illustrator to support content creation and visual storytelling.
• A creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and branding.
• Basic experience with social media analytics tools and scheduling platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Planoly, or similar).
• A proactive and adaptable approach.
• Knowledge of or interest in the parenting, baby, or lifestyle industry is a bonus!
