Market & Revenue Analyst

B&B Ventures is seeking an International Market & Revenue Analyst (Contractor) to assist in monitoring and generating market reports on revenue performance across multiple vacation rental markets. This role will focus on daily data analysis, market trends, and pricing insights without directly adjusting rates. The contractor will play a key role in providing actionable reports and data-driven recommendations to optimize pricing strategies and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis & Reporting:
Conduct daily revenue performance tracking across designated markets.
Monitor competitor pricing, demand shifts, and booking trends using available data tools.
Create detailed market reports outlining key insights on supply, demand, and pricing trends.

Revenue Monitoring & Data Insights:

Analyze historical and real-time booking data to identify revenue opportunities.
Track occupancy rates, RevPAR (Revenue per Available Rental), and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
Identify trends in gap nights, seasonal fluctuations, and high/low booking periods.
Flag anomalies and potential revenue risks for further review by the internal team.
Collaboration & Recommendations:

Present findings in concise, data-driven reports to revenue managers and market teams.
Provide insights to support revenue management decisions, including optimal pricing windows, length-of-stay patterns, and forecasted demand changes.
Assist in refining market research methodologies to improve pricing strategies over time.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience in revenue analysis, market research, or pricing analytics (preferably in the vacation rental, hospitality, or travel industry).

Strong data interpretation and reporting skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar), and revenue management software.
Familiarity with OTA platforms (Airbnb, Vrbo, Upgrade to see actual info, etc.) and pricing dynamics.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent written communication skills for clear reporting and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in vacation rental revenue management or pricing analysis.
Knowledge of AirDNA, KeyData, or other industry benchmarking tools.
Understanding of global market trends and economic factors affecting short-term rentals.

Contract Details
Fully remote position with flexible working hours, aligning with U.S. time zones when necessary.
Daily reporting and communication required with the revenue management team.
Compensation based on $Upgrade to see actual infoUSD monthly for the first 90 days; then readjusted based on results to $4/hr + healthcare.
