Magento Front-End UI Developer

As a Magento Front-End UI Developer at Buy It Direct, you will play a critical role in creating exceptional user experiences across our Magento-powered websites. You will work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to build high-performing and engaging interfaces that meet the needs of users and drive business growth.

You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Magento's front-end architecture, along with your expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies, to translate designs into functional and optimized user interfaces.

-- Responsibilities:--
- Develop high-quality Magento front-end code: Translate designs from Figma prototypes into pixel-perfect, performant, and user-friendly Magento experiences.
- Maintain and enhance Magento themes: Customize and extend existing Magento themes to meet business requirements and ensure a consistent brand experience.
- Optimize for performance: Implement front-end optimizations (e.g., image optimization, caching, lazy loading) to enhance page load speed and improve user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and successful project delivery.
- Ensure accessibility and compliance: Build accessible and inclusive experiences that adhere to WCAG guidelines and other relevant standards.
- Stay up-to-date: Keep abreast of the latest Magento best practices, front-end technologies, and industry trends.
- Contribute to design system: Participate in the development and maintenance of our design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across all digital touchpoints.
- Troubleshoot and debug: Diagnose and resolve front-end issues effectively and efficiently.

-- Requirements:--
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Magento front-end development with a strong understanding of Magento's architecture and theming.
- Solid proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including ES6+), and jQuery.
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Proven ability to translate designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect code.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Experience with PHP and other back-end technologies related to Magento is advantageous.
