Low Voltage Estimator (Part-Time, Remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing low voltage company. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in construction takeoffs and estimating, with a strong ability to read and interpret construction plans. While training will be provided for our specific bidding process, applicants must have a solid background in estimating construction projects.

Responsibilities:

-Perform accurate takeoffs from construction drawings
-Create detailed cost estimates for low voltage projects
-Analyze blueprints, specifications, and scope of work
-Work closely with our team to develop competitive bids
-Ensure accuracy in pricing and materials estimation
-Assist in bid submissions and follow-ups

Requirements:
-Experience in takeoffs and estimating (construction-related)
-Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints
-Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
-Basic knowledge of low voltage systems (preferred but not required)
-Proficiency in Excel, estimating software, or takeoff tools
-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Compensation & Benefits:

-Base pay: $5 - $7 per hour + commission
