Long-form Video Editor (with Short-form Experience)

About Us:
Black Horizon Studio is a creative video editing agency specializing in short-form and long-form videos. We are passionate about telling stories through engaging and visually compelling edits. Like some of the famous editing styles (Ali Abdaal, Iman Ghadzhi, Alex Hormozi, Natt Jongsala.) As we continue to grow, we're looking to add talented video editors to our team who can deliver high-quality work that aligns with our brand vision.

Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, professional-quality videos
- Work closely with clients to understand their vision and make necessary revisions
- Add effects, graphics, sound, and music to enhance storytelling
- Ensure the final product is consistent with brand aesthetics and project requirements
- Collaborate with team members to deliver projects on time
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Requirements:
- Proficiency in editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Capcut.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work and skills in various video styles (corporate, social media, commercials, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and take creative direction
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and color correction
- Experience with motion graphics and sound design is a plus
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of visual composition
- Excellent communication skills
