Video Editor (Long-Form & Short-Form) – Ongoing Position

We are a YouTube channel that reviews nutrition supplements and fitness apps, helping our audience make informed decisions about their health and performance. We are looking for a skilled video editor to help us produce engaging and high-quality content on an ongoing basis.

Job Details:
Pay: $10 USD per hour
Schedule: Flexible, based on project deadlines

Workload:
1 long-form video (12-20 minutes) per month
Up to 8 short-form videos per month
Payment: Monthly via PayPal (must provide an invoice)

Responsibilities:
Edit videos from raw footage provided by our video producers.
Remove pauses, mistakes, and unnecessary segments.
Add 'jump cuts' to make videos engaging.
Enhance videos with stock footage, relevant photos, and overlays to support the content.
Create attractive thumbnails using text overlay and screenshots from the video.
Ensure the videos align with our brand’s style and tone, making complex supplement and app reviews easy to understand.

Requirements:
Start date: Immediately
Equipment: Must have a computer (not a cell phone) with stable internet.
Software: Must have access to professional video editing software (software will not be provided).
Skills: Strong attention to detail, efficient workflow, and ability to follow creative direction.
Language: Must be able to read and write in English.
PayPal: Must have an operational PayPal account (PayPal fees are not covered).
Work Tracking: Must be willing to install Screenmeeter for logging work hours.
