Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Local SEO Specialist to manage and optimize Google My Business profiles, oversee BrightLocal citation management for up to 25 client accounts, and handle Rank Math optimization for our client's WordPress sites. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in local SEO strategies and a deep understanding of online reputation management. This role offers the potential to expand into broader SEO responsibilities based on performance and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Google My Business Management: Create, claim, verify, and optimize Google My Business profiles to enhance local search visibility.
- BrightLocal Citation Management: Conduct comprehensive citation audits, build new citations, and ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Rank Math Optimization: Utilize the Rank Math SEO plugin to optimize WordPress sites, ensuring content is search-engine friendly and adheres to best practices.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize analytics tools to track and report on key performance indicators, providing actionable insights to clients.

Proven experience in managing Google My Business profiles and BrightLocal citation management.

Proficiency in using the Rank Math SEO plugin for WordPress optimization.

Strong understanding of local SEO strategies and online reputation management.

Proficiency in SEO tools and platforms.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
