We are looking for a Loan Officer Assistant to support loan officers in managing the loan process efficiently and ensuring a smooth experience for clients.

Job Summary
As a Loan Officer Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting loan officers by gathering documentation, communicating with clients, and ensuring the timely processing of loan applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and has experience in the mortgage or lending industry.

Key Responsibilities
Assist loan officers in managing loan applications from start to finish.
Gather, review, and verify client documentation for loan applications.
Communicate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth processing.
Input and update loan information into CRM and loan origination systems.
Coordinate with underwriters, processors, and closing agents to ensure timely approvals.
Follow up on outstanding documents and requirements.
Ensure compliance with lending regulations and company policies.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Loan Officer Assistant, Mortgage Assistant, or similar role.
Familiarity with mortgage and loan processing, underwriting guidelines, and lending regulations.
Experience using loan origination systems (LOS), Encompass, Calyx, or similar platforms.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with FHA, VA, conventional, and jumbo loans.
Knowledge of financial documents such as tax returns, credit reports, and income verification.
Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment.
