Job Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
• Communicate with clients, real estate agents, and other professionals to gather information and keep everyone informed about loan status.
• Answer inquiries regarding loan programs, status, and application procedures.
Loan Processing:
• Assist in preparing and reviewing loan documentation, such as credit reports, income verification, and other supporting materials.
• Help ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
• Maintain loan files, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Data Entry & Record-Keeping:
• Input client information into the loan management system.
• Track loan progress and ensure all deadlines are met.
Coordination & Communication:
• Coordinate with underwriters, appraisers, and other professionals to expedite the loan approval process.
• Assist in gathering necessary documentation from clients, such as tax returns, bank statements, and other financial documents.
• Communicate loan status updates to clients and loan officers.
Scheduling & Follow-up:
• Schedule meetings, appointments, and calls between clients and loan officers.
• Follow up with clients to ensure all required documents are submitted and deadlines are met.
Compliance & Accuracy:
• Help ensure that all loan applications comply with federal and state regulations.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness before submission to underwriters.
Skills & Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require a degree).
• Previous experience in the mortgage industry or as an administrative assistant is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and loan origination software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with Encompass is a plus
