JOB OVERVIEW

As the Link Building Manager, you will lead the development and execution of link-building strategies across multiple client accounts, driving organic growth, enhancing domain authority, and improving search engine rankings. You will manage a team of Link Building Specialists, oversee outreach campaigns, build relationships with industry influencers and website owners, and collaborate with SEO and content teams to create impactful off-page SEO strategies that align with client goals and industry best practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manage a team of Link Building Specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
+ Oversee the team’s daily activities, including outreach campaigns, link acquisition efforts, and relationship management with webmasters and influencers.
+ Conduct regular performance reviews, set team goals, and monitor progress to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
+ Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture by promoting best practices and continuous learning.
+ Oversee workload allocation, project assignments, and ensure the team meets deadlines and quality standards.
+ Address and resolve performance issues or conflicts within the team, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
+ Develop and implement processes and best practices to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Serve as a point of contact for escalations related to link building projects and collaborate with other department leaders to resolve issues effectively.

Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Create and implement comprehensive link-building strategies tailored to meet client goals, focusing on increasing organic traffic, improving domain authority, and achieving higher search engine rankings.
+ Direct and oversee outreach efforts, including crafting and refining email pitches, securing guest posting opportunities, and building long-term relationships with high-authority sites.
+ Ensure the acquisition of high-quality, relevant, and ethical backlinks, adhering to SEO best practices and search engine guidelines.
+ Use tools like SEMrush, SERankings, and Google Analytics to track and evaluate link-building performance. Provide actionable insights and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
+ Work closely with SEO and content teams to create link-worthy assets such as blogs, infographics, and other digital resources.
+ Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure all link building initiatives are executed on time and within scope.
+ Monitor industry trends, algorithm updates, and new tools to ensure strategies remain effective and competitive.
+ Develop and maintain detailed reports to track progress and results, providing clients and leadership with regular updates on link building performance.
+ Contribute to additional projects and initiatives as needed to support overall company goals, including participating in strategic planning sessions and collaborating on integrated digital marketing campaigns.

Required Skills/Abilities:
+ Comprehensive knowledge of link-building tactics, including outreach, guest posting, broken link building, digital PR, and resource page link acquisition.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting compelling outreach messages, negotiating partnerships, and maintaining professional relationships.
+ Proficient in analyzing backlink profiles, measuring campaign performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement using data-driven insights.
+ Hands-on experience with tools like SEMrush, BuzzStream, Hunter.io, and other outreach tools.
+ Ability to manage multiple campaigns, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
+ Skilled at identifying unique link-building opportunities and creating link-worthy content in collaboration with content and design teams.
+ Deep understanding of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and ethical link-building guidelines to maintain compliance and effectiveness.
+ Ability to stay ahead of industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging tools or techniques, adapting strategies accordingly.
+ Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively across SEO and content teams.
+ Familiarity with project management tools like Basecamp or similar.
