Line Producer

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Line Producer to oversee the end-to-end production process of our podcast network. This role will be instrumental in coordinating production, post-production, and distribution while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met. The Line Producer will work closely with the Post-Production Specialist and lead efforts to improve our production pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the production lifecycle for "Watson Weekly," "Watson Weekend," and new shows under development.
Plan, schedule, and manage recording sessions, ensuring all technical and logistical day-to-day operations are handled.
Coordinate with hosts, guests, and production staff to ensure smooth recording experiences.
Manage distribution processes, including uploading to platforms, ensuring metadata is complete, and scheduling releases.
Collaborate with the Post-Production Specialist to ensure high-quality outputs.
Research and integrate state-of-the-art podcasting tools and techniques to improve efficiency.
Evaluate and implement AI tools for production, post-production, content repurposing, and social media distribution.
Develop and document sustainable processes for producing and marketing podcasts, including standard operating procedures and guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in podcast or media production, with a strong understanding of the production and distribution process.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Experience with podcast hosting platforms Captivate and Streamyard or similar.
Ability to troubleshoot and manage technical issues during live and recorded events.
Knowledge of AI tools and techniques for podcasting is a strong advantage.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
