We are seeking a Level Designer to help shape the worlds of our RPG and tactical games. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of level composition, object placement, and gameplay flow to create immersive and strategic environments.
Responsibilities:
-Design & Build Levels – Create engaging and visually appealing game environments with well-balanced gameplay.
-Object & Asset Placement – Position terrain, structures, and interactive elements to enhance player experience.
-Gameplay Integration – Collaborate with designers and artists to ensure levels complement game mechanics and artistic direction.
-Testing & Iteration – Playtest levels, analyze feedback, and refine designs to improve gameplay and flow.
-Collaboration – Work closely with the development team to bring game worlds to life.
Requirements:
-Level Design Experience – Strong understanding of spatial composition, pacing, and visual storytelling in level design.
-Unity Proficiency – Experience with Unity’s level design tools, asset placement, and terrain sculpting.
-Technical & Artistic Balance – Ability to blend aesthetics and functionality in level creation.
-Gameplay Awareness – Understanding of tactical and RPG gameplay to design levels that enhance player strategy.
-Problem-Solving & Teamwork – Ability to adapt to feedback and work collaboratively in an iterative development process.
Bonus Skills:
-Experience with procedural level generation.
-Familiarity with multiplayer map design.
-Knowledge of basic C# scripting for interactive elements.
-Optimization & Performance – Maintain smooth performance through efficient level design and asset management.
