The Role: Legal Assistant
We’re searching for a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Legal Assistant to become an integral part of our team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys, gain exposure to diverse legal matters, and play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
Case Support
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare, proofread, and finalize legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
Assist in drafting and filing legal documents with courts and other agencies.
Administrative Duties
Manage attorneys’ calendars, including scheduling meetings, court dates, and client consultations.
Monitor and track deadlines to ensure all filings and tasks are completed on time.
Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including phone calls,
Client Interaction
Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
Coordinate client intake and gather necessary information and documentation.
Maintain confidentiality and build trust with clients during sensitive legal matters.
Legal Research and Assistance
Conduct preliminary legal research on cases as needed.
Compile case summaries and prepare reports for attorney review.
Support attorneys during hearings, mediations, or trials, including preparing materials and taking notes.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications Experience
Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a law firm setting strongly preferred. No experience is welcome to apply
Familiarity with legal terminology, court filing systems, and procedures.
Skills and Attributes
Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in legal software and tools, such as [insert software, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Clio, MyCase].
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
A proactive attitude with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems efficiently.
