Lead Remote Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Remote Accountant to join our team. As a vital member of our finance department, you will manage and oversee financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This is a remote position, providing the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to the organization's financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Accounts Management: Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and process payroll.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, providing financial insights and forecasts to support decision-making.
Tax Preparation and Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, prepare necessary documents, and liaise with tax authorities when required.
Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost-saving or revenue growth.
System Optimization: Utilize accounting software and tools to automate processes and improve efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support company objectives.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
Proven experience in accounting or finance (3+ years preferred).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
Work experience in service provider environment is a plus.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
