Lead Magento Developer

A market leading Digital Agency in Australia is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Magento Full Stack Developer to join our team to work on a high visibility ecommerce build.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining large ecommerce projects using the Adobe Commerce - previously known as Magento platform (Magento 2 - Cloud). In this role, you will be responsible for working with our team and client to design, develop, and maintain their ecommerce website. Experience building ecommerce sites in Magento is a must.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a team of developers and designers to create and implement custom Magento solutions for our clients
Participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
Troubleshooting interface issues & implement the security patches
Optimise and maintain existing Magento websites and applications
Stay up-to-date with the latest Magento development trends and technologies
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members and developers with limited Magento experience
Able to setup the server for different environments and maintain security measures
Experience and good understanding of deployment tools CI/CD

Requirements:
Certified Magento Developer
Strong enterprise experience with Magento 2 development, including custom module development and theme customization
Experience extending or customising existing products/frameworks such as Magento 2
Experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies
Experience with Git, monday.com and other collaboration tools
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug code
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong analytical, communication and written skills with the ability to convey clear and concise thoughts and ideas.
Experience in large ecommerce project is a plus
Magento certification non-essential / highly desirable
Experience with Security & PenTesting is a plus
