Job description
The Strategic Business Development Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential clients. This role involves managing outbound sales activities, uncovering client needs, and scheduling demos.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
Own outbound sales lead from initial contact to scheduling demos
Conduct thorough research to discover new leads and build a preliminary sales funnel
Create and execute successful lead generation campaigns using a multi-channel approach
Conduct cold calls to potential clients and maintain a high volume of outbound calls to generate interest and qualify leads
Sales Process Management:
Manage prospecting status, data integrity, and forecasting in CRM
Update CRM with accurate and timely information on lead status, interactions, and next steps
Coordinate meetings with Sales Representatives and ensure a smooth transition for potential clients
Track prospects from initial contact to qualification, ensuring accurate documentation in the CRM
Provide daily summaries and participate in tea
Develop and refine sales scripts and outreach strategies to improve conversion rates
Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the number of calls made and appointments set
Collaboration and Strategy
Collaborate with sales and marketing departments to implement and update outreach initiatives
Report directly to the Marketing Manager
Share insights and best practices with the team to enhance overall performance
Qualifications:
Strong outbound experience in HVAC industry is required
Proven experience in lead generation, business development, or related roles
Strong communication abilities to articulate and represent the company
Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Expertise in utilizing lead sourcing and sales intelligence tools like ZoomInfo
Proficient in CRM tools and Social Media platforms
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
with graveyard experience.
Must be able to work a night shift for 8 hours, Monday-Friday EST.
Must have the following: A) Own computer unit (Processor should be at least 10th generation; RAM at least 8GB) and backup; B) Stable postpaid internet connection and backup; C) Backup power supply.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in digital marketing or B2B sales, particularly in the home services industry.
Knowledge of digital marketing services and trends, including social media, SEO, and paid ads.
