We're looking for a Landscape and Irrigation Designer for a dynamic and innovative US landscape design firm.
If you're as passionate about crafting beautiful landscapes as you are about the irrigation systems that keep them thriving, this position is for you. In this full-time remote role, you'll collaborate with our US-based team (with some schedule overlap) to design exceptional commercial and public landscapes from concept to completion. You'll use industry-leading software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Land F/X to develop both the creative landscape plans and the efficient irrigation networks that keep their projects green and vibrant.

Key Responsibilities
*Landscape Design: Develop innovative landscape designs and master plans for large-scale commercial or public projects, including layout of hardscapes, softscapes, and other site features.
*Irrigation Planning: Design and integrate efficient irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, etc.) into your landscape plans to ensure healthy, sustainable environments that meet plant water requirements.
*Technical Detailing: Perform basic hydraulic calculations (pipe sizing, flow rates, pressure) to ensure the irrigation system will function effectively and efficiently.
*CAD Drafting: Produce detailed construction drawings (plans and 3D models) of the landscape and irrigation designs using AutoCAD and Revit, utilizing the Land F/X plugin for efficiency.
*Project Coordination: Collaborate with landscape architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure your designs are feasible and executed according to plan. Coordinate across disciplines to maintain the overall design vision and functionality.
*Compliance and Sustainability: Ensure all landscape and irrigation designs comply with local regulations, codes, and sustainability best practices (water conservation, efficient irrigation strategies, etc.) throughout the design process.
*Project Oversight: Work with the project team from concept through completion, providing input during construction and making adjustments as needed to achieve the desired outcome.
Qualifications
*Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in landscape design (ideally on large-scale or commercial projects), including substantial experience in irrigation planning and system layout.
*Education: Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Design or Horticulture
*Design and Plant Knowledge: Creative design mindset with strong knowledge of planting design, horticulture, and landscape materials. Capable of balancing aesthetics with functionality and sustainability in every design.
*Irrigation Expertise: Solid understanding of irrigation design principles – including planning effective sprinkler/drip layouts, calculating basic flow and pressure requirements, and selecting appropriate irrigation equipment.
*Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit (required); experience with Land F/X is highly preferred.
*Collaborative Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Comfortable coordinating with a remote team and consulting with engineers, contractors, or regulatory agencies as needed.
*Adaptability: Detail-oriented and self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks and incorporate feedback effectively.
*Availability: Full-time availability with the ability to accommodate some US business hours for real-time collaboration with the team.
