Landscape Estimator / Quoter

We are currently seeking a Landscape Estimator / Quoter to join his dynamic team, supporting the sales process by preparing detailed project quotes and breaking down landscaping plans for operational execution.
Our client specializes in delivering exceptional landscaping solutions, covering both hard and soft landscape projects.
Remote, Permanent, full-time, Mon-Fri, 9 am - 6 pm AEST

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand project scope through notes and photos, and formulate pricing/quotes for clients.
• Summarize and present detailed quotes, ensuring clarity for the client.
• Turn project details into daily plans so the operations manager can run the job on-site once the quote is approved.
• Assist with preparing and managing payment schedules between the company and clients.
• Provide detailed project plans, including timelines and specifications, to ensure smooth project execution upon acceptance of the quote.
Required Skills:
Primary Skills:
1. Deep understanding of hard and soft landscaping.
2. Ability to create detailed project plans for landscape installation.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Secondary Skills:
1. Attention to detail in translating conceptual ideas into quotes.
2. Project management experience, ideally in the landscaping industry.
3. High-level proficiency with Microsoft Planner, XERO, EXCEL, and Tradify.
Technical Skills:
1. Ability to conceptualize images and notes into client-friendly quotes.
2. Experience with landscape concept design.
3. Strong pricing/estimating skills in landscaping.
Key Qualifications:
• Proven background in landscape trades and/or project management in landscaping.
• Experience in pricing/quoting and working closely with operations teams.
• Proficient in relevant software tools (Microsoft Planner, XERO, EXCEL, Tradify).
