Job Description:
Role and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve our e-commerce brands' search engine rankings.
Perform detailed keyword research to identify relevant keywords and phrases for our products.
Conduct comprehensive on-page SEO audits and optimise website content, meta tags, images, and internal links to enhance search engine visibility.
Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies, including link-building campaigns, guest blogging, and outreach to acquire high-quality backlinks.
Monitor and analyse website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to track key metrics and make data-driven decisions.
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure compliance and optimise our SEO efforts.
Prepare and present regular SEO performance reports, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the market and adjust strategies accordingly.
Work towards achieving higher organic search rankings and increasing organic traffic and conversions for our e-commerce sites.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, preferably within the e-commerce industry.
In-depth knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO techniques and best practices.
Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
Strong understanding of keyword research, content optimisation, and link-building strategies.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Up-to-date with the latest industry trends and algorithm updates.
Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify
Knowledge of local SEO and international SEO strategies.
Understanding of user experience (UX) and its impact on SEO.
