Klaviyo Email Marketer Specialist

Type: Part-time ~15-20 hours per week

We are a direct-to-consumer sustainable fashion brand focused on creating soft wardrobe essentials. Our mission is to empower customers to make thoughtful, minimalist choices that reduce their environmental impact.
As part of our small but passionate team, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue and customer engagement through effective email and SMS marketing strategies. We are looking for a motivated, data-driven Email Marketing Specialist who has experience with Klaviyo. You’ll have strong depth in building, managing, and optimizing email campaigns and flows, as well as developing a successful SMS marketing strategy. You will work closely with the CEO and marketing team to implement dynamic, real-time strategies for growing our brand and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Email
Campaigns & Flows:
Create, schedule, design and optimize email marketing campaigns in Klaviyo - approximately 5 campaigns per week
Build, maintain and update automated email flows to drive customer engagement and retention. Updating 2-3 flows per month or more.
Design, write, and test email content that aligns with brand voice and values.
Use segmentation to target different customer groups for personalized experiences.
SMS Strategy:
Develop and manage the brand’s SMS marketing strategy, including scheduling, copywriting, and testing.
Sending approx. 1 SMS per month
Ensure SMS campaigns are integrated with email marketing efforts for a cohesive approach.

Email
Forms & Segmentation:
Design and optimize email capture forms to increase the subscriber list.
Implement advanced segmentation strategies to create personalized, relevant email experiences for subscribers.
Analysis & Optimization:
Monitor performance metrics for email and SMS campaigns, including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and revenue generated.
Regularly A/B test subject lines, content, and call-to-actions to improve campaign effectiveness.
Provide data-driven insights and report on campaign performance to the CEO and team, recommending improvements.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional calendars, product launches, and creative content.
Work alongside graphic designers to ensure emails and SMS messages are visually appealing and on-brand.


Key Skills and Qualifications:
At least 2+ years of experience in email marketing ( with eCommerce brands).
Must have Previous Expertise in Klaviyo (building email campaigns, flows, and segmentation strategies).
Proficiency in SMS marketing platforms.
Strong copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
Analytical mindset with experience using tools like Google Analytics and Klaviyo’s reporting features to monitor and optimize campaigns.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Basic understanding of design tools like Canva (experience with Adobe CS is a plus).
Experience with A/B testing, conversion tracking, and email performance analysis.
Knowledge of Shopify is a plus.

Work Style:
This is a fully remote role with flexible hours, but availability for key meetings during Eastern Standard Time (EST) is required. You’ll participate in weekly check-ins with the CEO and core team meetings on Monday AM EST.
