Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Content Creator with the ability to ideate, create, and distribute engaging and impactful content across multiple social media platforms. You will be responsible for turning raw footage, research insights, and strategic direction into TikToks, Instagram Stories, Reels, feed posts, captions, long-form videos, short-form videos, YouTube Shorts, IG TV, thumbnails, and much more. Your role will include developing content strategies, creating brand-aligned visuals and video content, and engaging audiences to increase brand visibility and drive growth across all social channels.
The ideal candidate is someone with creativity, experience, and ambition who can not only create visually appealing and trend-driven content but also develop content that is strategically aligned with our brand's vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation:
- Develop original and engaging content tailored to each platform, including TikTok, Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed), YouTube (Shorts, long-form videos), and more.
- Use raw footage, photography, and design assets to create compelling videos, graphics, and animations.
- Conceptualize and design thumbnails and other visual elements for videos and social media posts.
- Write engaging captions, scripts, and descriptions that resonate with the target audience.
2. Platform-Specific Strategies:
- Create content tailored to each social media platform’s best practices (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and trending formats.
- Utilize features such as IG TV, Stories, Stitches, and YouTube Shorts effectively to engage users and drive views and interactions.
- Stay updated on trends, tools, and algorithms to ensure content maximizes reach and impact.
3. Research & Ideation:
- Conduct market research and analyze competitors, audience behavior, and platform trends to generate content ideas.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure that content is aligned with branding and marketing campaigns.
- Develop and pitch new content ideas that align with the company’s voice, values, and goals.
4. Video Editing & Production:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into high-quality short and long-form videos.
- Add graphics, animations, and effects to enhance video content.
- Manage and organize digital assets, including video footage, photos, and design files.
5. Content Calendar Management:
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Ensure a consistent posting schedule across all social media platforms.
- Track and analyze content performance, adjusting strategies based on insights and analytics.
6. Analytics & Optimization:
- Monitor and report on content performance, using insights to optimize future content.
- Use data to inform creative decisions and content optimization strategies.
- Collaborate on A/B testing of content formats to enhance performance.
7. Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and product teams to ensure all content aligns with broader business goals.
- Collaborate with influencers, partners, and user-generated content to increase brand visibility and engagement.
8. Brand Voice & Consistency:
- Ensure that all content adheres to brand guidelines, voice, and tone.
- Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency across all content.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-5+ years of experience in social media content creation, with a proven track record of growing and engaging audiences on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar) and graphic design tools (Photoshop, Canva, After Effects, etc.).
- Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, etc.).
- Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social, or similar).
- Creativity & Ambition: A demonstrated ability to come up with creative ideas and execute them with high-quality production value.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to balance creativity with data-driven strategy to produce content that drives results.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to write captions, video scripts, and collaborate with internal teams.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with brands or influencers in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Knowledge of social media advertising strategies and paid content campaigns.
- Familiarity with SEO principles as they relate to YouTube and social media platforms.
