Job Opening: Creative Graphic Designer for Cartoon Playing Card Deck (Freelance / Per Project)

We’re looking for a creative and experienced designer to help us bring a full playing card deck to life for one of our clients. This project combines cartoon illustration, storytelling, and branding into a collectible deck—both digital and print-ready.

You will be responsible for:
- Designing a visually engaging card deck for both online and physical use
- Illustrating each card based on provided text and short story concepts
- Using pre-developed cartoon characters as the visual foundation
- Applying the client’s brand identity (colors, typography, tone) to each design
- Creating packaging design for the physical card deck (box, insert, etc.)
- Designing web-ready graphics for potential use in online shops or promotional pages (e.g. banners, hero images, product mockups)
- Delivering artwork that is suitable for both digital use and high-quality printing (300dpi, CMYK, with bleed)
- You may use AI tools to assist with illustration or design as long as the quality remains high, consistent, and aligned with the brief

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong skills in cartoon or comic-style illustration
- Can translate written concepts into visual storytelling
- Has experience designing product packaging and preparing files for print
- Understands branding and can work consistently within existing visual guidelines
- Can create website graphics and promotional visuals
- Communicates clearly and meets deadlines
- Works efficiently under pressure – the full project must be delivered by May 13th, 2025
